Sustainability

Committed to sourcing materials from responsible reclaiming operations and salvaged-timber mills; including forest conservation sources which minimize or eliminate environmental impact.

Our reclaimed wood comes from structures including: old barns, farmhouses, buildings, warehouses and factories—in some cases, dating back to the 1800s.

Our salvaged lumber is sourced through a network of local arborists and salvaging operations. Trees are collected from areas planned for development, under water or felled trees, and are often saved from landfill or mulch.

Whether reclaimed wood or salvaged lumber, all of our products are available in natural or organic finishes, and are custom crafted using artisanal techniques.

Anazao is a proud member of: the Toronto chapter of Canadian Green Building Council, The Ontario Wood organization, the Sustainable Furnishing Council, and supporter of Leadership in Environmental Design (LEED).
